  • JULY 29, 2004 - "We've got a great team up here," said second baseman Cameron Blair, who was just named the 2004 ABL player of the year. "You play with a great bunch of guys and with great coaches I can't say enough about these guys. We're good together and we've been clicking and it's been a heck of a summer."

  • JULY 10, 2004 - "Forget about the Grand Slam Breakfast. Denny's may be a post-Midnight Sun Game favorite among players and fans, but food from a restaurant chain can't compare to a homemade meal cooked by a Goldpanner host family; just as hitting a grand slam is a mere snack when compared to having a feast of four home runs in a day. That's right: Four home runs."

  • JUNE 25, 2004 - "When you're seeing the ball good it's looking like a beach ball or a melon," said Cameron Blair, the Panners latest roster pickup and a senior out of Texas Tech. "But when you're seeing it bad it's looking like a BB or a piece of rice."
