Summer League: Played for the Alaska Goldpanners in the Summer of 2005, appearing in 13 games with 12 starts batting .244 with six runs, three tirples and five RBIs... injured his right shoulder as the team went on to the NBC World Series in Wichita, KS... summer teammates with fellow Dirtbags Brett Andrade and Ted Pattock... played for the Alaska Glacier Pilots in the Alaska Summer League in 2004... batted .269 over 41 games with 16 runs and 15 RBIs... also had seven steals... produced six doubles and a triple as well... walked 10 times.

LBSU 2005: Batted .305 starting 46 games at first base and playing in 47 overall... ranked third on the team with 54 hits and had nine doubles, a team-best two triples and one homer for a .395 slugging percentage... made just three errors all season, fielding at a .993 clip... had 16 multi-hit games... started the season on a tear, batting .478 over his first six games, producing five multi-hit games... hit safely in nine of his final 12 games, including four-straight upon his return, but watched his average drop from .333 to .305 over the final month of the season... went 4-for-5 with a double and a steal at UC Irvine on April 10... had three, three-hit games, going 3-for-5 at USC on February 13, including a double; 3-for-5 with an RBI against Houston on March 11 and had three hits at Pepperdine on April 12, producing an RBI double... produced a seven-game hit streak... hit a solo homerun at UC Santa Barbara on May 7... had the game-winning single in the ninth on February 6 against Saint Mary’s and the game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth against UCLA on April 5.

LBSU 2004: Redshirt season.

High School: Lettered three years in baseball, earning first team All-Sunset League honors in 2002 and 2003… batted .388 with seven doubles, 23 walks and one homer in league play… honor roll student… his junior national team won the 2001 Junior Olympic Championship in Peoria, AZ.

Personal: Son of Kelly and Sharon Godfrey… father, Kelly, played baseball at UCLA and in the Twins minor league system, while brother, Ryan, played two seasons at Vanderbilt… major is undeclared.
