FRESHMAN (2004): Took a medical redshirt in 2004 while playing at Columbia Basin Community College.

FRESHMAN (2005): Appeared in 22 games, making one start...posted a 5.73 ERA with a 2-1 record and a team-leading five saves, while serving as one of the Bulldogs top relief pitchers.

SOPHOMORE (2006): Appeared in team-leading 26 games on the mound, making two starts...posted a 3.25 ERA with a 2-2 record and a tied for the team lead with three saves, while serving as one of the Bulldogs top relievers...combined with three other GU pitchers to post a 6-0 shutout over Chicago State.
