High School: A 2000 graduate of De La Salle High School... starred as a football player who was named all-region by several publications... had more than 140 tackles his senior year... also played fullback... captain of football and baseball team his senior year... coached by Brad Espositio on the diamond... 1st team all-state baseball as a senior and 2nd team all-state as a junior... hit .485 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI his senior season... best game was a 4-for-4 day at the plate with two RBI and pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts on the mound.
