4/5/8:
David Gassner (00) ;
Jason Phillips (96)
Riverhawks sign ex-major leaguers "The Camden Riversharks completed
three deals this week that bring eight seasons of combined Major League
experience to the club. First baseman-catcher Jason Phillips, lefthanded
starter Dave Gassner and outfielder Chris Walker agreed to terms and will
join the Riversharks in 2008."
-
4/4/5: Phillips has plenty left to learn
-
3/2/4:
Still intense on the field "But when I step on that field, if I'm not intense then I lose an edge. I'm not saying you should go out and fight or anything, and I don't want to disrespect or embarrass anyone. But this is a business and I have a family just like they have a family and if I do well, it's going to be at someone else's expense."

7/27:
Mets notes: Life good for Phillips " Jason Phillips is a candidate for National League Rookie of the Year, but he has a lot more important things on his mind of late. Like his new home and the forthcoming birth of his son. After Saturday's game, he also has a 14-game hitting streak."
5/20: Jason Phillips (96)
Phillips takes his glove, but doesn't go home "Where Phillips will ultimately fit in will be interesting to watch. The last time the 26-year-old Phillips could recall playing first base with any consistency was in 1996 in the
Alaska Baseball League, a summer league that plays in constant daylight." 5/5: Called up by New York Mets!
2/19:
