JULY 29, 2004 - "I just felt like I was throwing under a lot of pressure," said Stimpson. "It was a do or die situation if we were to go to Wichita. We were down a lot of runs when I came in and I knew I couldn't afford to give up any more."
JULY 14, 2004 - "Most of my strikeouts were with the curveball," said Stimpson. "It had good movement and I could throw it in any count to keep the hitters off balance."
JUNE 20, 2004 - "I had a week or two off (after the college season), said Stimpson. "So I wasn't in top shape. I'm still getting my arm back into shape and working to get my endurance up so I can fit into the starter's role here. I didn't really know what to expect when I came up, but the guys are great. It's better than I could have wished for.""
