Harbor JC for his sophomore year. Had a remarkable year by earning MVP of
the South Coast Conference and earning JC All-America status. Had a 40-game
hit streak during the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Westchester High in Los Angeles and graduated in 2005.
Was a three-year letterwinner in baseball where he played all positions,
including pitcher and catcher. Served as the team captain as a senior.
Helped his team make it to the second round of the playoffs as a junior and
then third round as a senior. Won the teams Offensive MVP award.
PERSONAL: Born April 25, 1987 to Rudolph Valencia and Jean Pille. Has one
brother, Steven. Lists his hobbies as guitar and drawing. Is majoring in
Kinesiology at LCSC. |
