  • 11/8/7: 2008 Pre-season All-American "Wyatt, a 5-foot-10, 185-pounder from Kittitas, Wash., hit .357 for the Warriors last year. He started in 56 games and went 76-of-213 with 15 doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 52 RBI. He scored 79 runs, had a slugging percent of .563, and went 13-of-13 in stolen bases"

 

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two seasons at shortstop for Bob Duda at Wenatchee Valley CC and also was the team captain last year. He earned second-team all-conference honors both seasons there.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ellensburg High in Washington where he played three seasons on the baseball team and one year on the basketball team, serving as team captain for both in 2003, his senior year. He led the team in hitting as a sophomore and was the team MVP and a first-team all-league selection. He nearly did a repeat as a junior, leading the team in hitting earning MVP honors, and was a second-team all-league choice. As a senior, he was co-MVP of the Mid-Valley League and a first-team all-State selection. In basketball, he won the Team Leadership Award.

PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 25, 1985 in Othello, Wash., to Kevin and Tally Wyatt, who now reside in Kittitas, Wash. Brent has two brothers, Michael and Tyler, and four sisters, Heidi, Laurel, Kristen, and Kylie. Brent’s hobbies include all sports and video games.
