PICTURE NIGHT AT GROWDEN

One of the finer aspects of amateur baseball is the intimacy between athlete and fan.  Summer baseball provides a unique opportunity for our young players to connect with Fairbanksans and develop relationships which often endure even into the professional careers of our players.

In order to encourage more interplay between our players and our fans, the Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks have created "Picture Night at Growden Park" as a promotion for the 2000 season.

Pictures of both teams will be taken just prior to game time, and fans are encouraged to enter the field grounds to take pictures for their own scrapbooks.  In addition to team pictures, fans are encouraged to take individual or groups pictures with players as well. 

It is a night to connect with the newly arrived players in June, and a night to say goodbye to the team in July.  We hope you attend.. and bring a camera!
