It was just after 11 p.m. on a particularly bright July night when umpires suspended play in the 14th inning of a tie game due to the angle of the sun, fearing for the safety of first basemen. The game was eventually continued later that night, with the Goldpanners winning. But the win will forever be a side note.  "Idiotic -- we call it the Angle of the Sun game," Dennis said. "But it's there every night, every summer.
