MILB Hilite 4/18: LAKE ELSINORE (CAL) 3B Greg Sain (99-00) UTD Stats, who led the Short-Season Class A Northwest League in home runs in 2001 with 16, went 2-for-4 and drove in four runs for Lake Elsinore. A fifth-round pick of the San Diego Padres two years ago, Sain hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning and then crushed his second home run of the year, knocking in all three runs in the third.  NORWICH (EAST) 1B Mike Cervenak (98) crushed a game-winning, three-run homer to help the Navigators edge the New Haven Ravens, 5-4. With his team trailing, 4-2, and runners at first and third with two outs, Cervenak, who had failed to record a hit in four previous plate appearances, smashed his second home run of the season over the left field fence to cap a four-run ninth inning.

Johnson begins his 15th season in the White Sox system and fourth at Triple-A...He has been with the Knights since they came to Charlotte in 1999. Served as trainer for the Double-A Birmingham Barons from 1995-97, Class-A Prince William in 1994, Class-A Sarasota in 1992-93 and Class-A South Bend 1989-91. Also served as trainer for the Alaska Goldpanners of the Alaska Summer League from 1986-88.  Married to Sue...Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from North Dakota State in 1998... Nicknamed "Fargo."
