CALIFORNIA DONS 2004 ALASKA TRIP TRAVEL ITINERARY
8 June Tuesday: 8:41PM (California time) depart Los Angeles on Alaska Airlines flight #109 non-stop to Anchorage arriving at 1AM (Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, Alaska time). You will be picked up in Anchorage by the Anchorage Bucs and transported to the University of Alaska Dorms for housing hosted by the Anchorage Bucs.
9 June Wednesday: Local Anchorage transportation will be provided by the Anchorage Bucs on this date. Dorm check out time will be observed. Game time is 7PM against the Bucs. Check with the Bucs for transportation and BP times. If you desire shower facilities after the game you must coordinate with the Bucs prior to the game. After the game you will be transported to Kenai by the Peninsula Oilers bus. Departure time will probably be around midnight arriving in Kenai at about 3AM. In Kenai you will be housed at the “Bingo Hilton” with local transportation to and from eating facilities and the ballpark provided by the Oilers.
10 June Thursday: Game time 7PM against the Oilers. You must coordinate transportation and BP times with the Oilers.
11 June Friday: Game time 7PM against the Oilers. You must coordinate transportation and BP times with the Oilers. After the game you will be staying overnight at the Bingo Hilton.
12 June Saturday: Morning departure on the Oilers bus to Anchorage ball park. You must coordinate departure time with the Oilers. At the Anchorage ballpark you will transfer to the Mat-Su Miners vans for transportation to Palmer. Upon arrival in Palmer you will check in at the Gold Miner Hotel. Transportation while in Palmer to be coordinated with the Miners. Check with the Miners regarding B.P. time. Game time is at 7PM. After the game you will return to the hotel to stay overnight.
13 June Sunday: You will observe the check out time at the hotel and coordinate transportation departure time with the Miners who will be transporting you to Anchorage. Upon arrival in Anchorage you will be dropped off at the Royal Suites Lodge where you will be hosted by the Glacier Pilots. Local transportation will be coordinated by the Pilots. Game time is at 2PM. You must coordinate with the Pilots regarding B.P. time. After the game you will be transported back to the hotel again to be coordinated by the Pilots.
14 June Monday: Morning check out of hotel and departure to Fairbanks. Time to be coordinated with the Anchorage Bucs who will be providing the bus to Fairbanks. In Fairbanks you will be hosted by the Goldpanners and stay in their facilities at the ball park. Eating places are within walking distance so you shouldn’t need much local transportation. Any that is necessary will be provided by the Goldpanners. Game time is at 7PM. You will need to coordinate B.P. time with the Goldpanners.
15 June Tuesday: Game time 7PM
16 June Wednesday: Game time is 7PM. You will overnight at the Fairbanks facilities.
17 June Thursday: Morning check out and departure to Palmer. Coordinate with Goldpanners regarding check out and departure time. Upon arrival in Palmer you will check in at the Gold Miner Hotel. Game time is 7PM against the Miners who will be providing you with local transportation this date. Coordinate with the Miners regarding B.P. You will overnight at the hotel in Palmer.
18 June Friday: Observe hotel checkout time. Departure time to Anchorage will be coordinated by the Miners who will be transporting you to the Royal Suites Lodge where you will be hosted by the Glacier Pilots. Game time is at 7PM against the Anchorage Bucs. Transportation this date will be provided by the Glacier Pilots. You will need to coordinate with the Bucs regarding B.P. time and with the Pilots regarding transportation time. After the game you will be returned to the hotel by the Glacier Pilots.
19 June Saturday: Observe hotel check out time. Local transportation again will be coordinated with the Glacier Pilots. Game time is 7PM against the Glacier Pilots. If you desire shower facilities after the game you must coordinate this with the Pilots prior to the game. After the game you will be transported to the airport for departure by the Pilots. Departure time is 12:05AM (Alaska time) Saturday night/Sunday morning on Alaska Airlines Flight #106 arriving at LAX at 6:15AM Sunday (California time).
