Representative Tom Brice January 27, 1994 Dear Don; On behalf of the Eighteenth Legislature, I am honored to present the Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks with this Legislative Citation, commending not only the 30th anniversary of the team, but also the original organizers of the club and the teams' record of achievement as well. The Goldpanners have provided decades of quality sports entertainment for our community. The immpact of the Goldpanner organization on Fairbanks is profound. Because of the vision of a few people, Fairbanksans have had the opportunity to see future baseball greats play. Little League players have received instruction that would otherwise be unavailable, and all of us are able to take pride in being the home of one of the greatest amateur baseball organizations in the world. The commitment and dedication of all those who have been a part of Goldpanner baseball over the years is deeply appreciated. Congratulations to you all and my best wishes on your continued success.
